Wagon Ride

We went over to our neighbor's house to play and take the boys on a wagon ride tonight. They had a blast riding in the wagon together, but then Noah decided he wanted to pull Tripp around instead of ride. He did a great job and was super careful. Tripp thought it was way cooler when Noah was pulling. I told Noah he could take Tripp on a wagon ride every night :)

Happy First Mother's Day to Me!

I love my boys, they did such a good job!!

Tripp's Best Friend!!!

Tripp met his best friend for the first time today :)...little Carter is the cutest!!! Dana, Todd and Carter came to Houston this weekend for Mother's Day so we went over to meet Carter. Tell mommy and daddy to visit more often Carter, Tripp loved playing with you!
Grandmas...with the wrong babies :)

Hemoglobin Test

We had to take Tripp this past Friday for his hemoglobin test, it was awful. Tripp was laughing and being the perfect angel he is in the waiting room, while we waited for an hour. I don't think he would have been so happy had he known what was about to happen. When we went back, they put Tripp on my lap in a chair and then Kent held one arm while the nurse held the other and stuck him. His face turned bright red and then he starting crying. It was so sad to sit there while he was in pain, but thankfully daddy gave him some puffs when it was over and Tripp was super happy again. I couldn't love this kid more, he is such a trooper!

Two More Teeth

Yay, Tripp has two more teeth, his top front ones! They just cut through, but you can barely see them...I can't wait till they are fully out, then he can eat all kinds of food!

Baby FINS 2

Last week I called FINS to get Tripp signed up for swim lessons for the summer. The owner told me it was mandatory for all children to take Baby FINS 1 if they have never been to FINS swim lessons before. I asked her what the difference was between Baby FINS 1 and 2 and explained that Tripp was really comfortable in the water. She didn't budge on the Baby FINS 1 but told me we could go this past Saturday to try the class out. Kent, Tripp and I went on Saturday around 2. Tripp had a blast, as we knew he would. He did things I didn't even think he would do. The instructor threw a ring on the top stair and started explaining, "now to get him to put his face in the water..." she was cut off by Tripp diving face first under the water to pick the ring up! I was shocked I didn't even think he would just go for it! She also sat him on a raft and said, "now let him just naturally fall face forward and catch him right under the water and bring him up." I was like, "ummm I don't think so" so I let her do it. Tripp loved being under the water and having her catch him! After the 30 minute trail class the instructor said, "I would recommend signing him up for Baby FINS 2, he doesn't need Baby FINS 1." :) The only thing Tripp wasn't good at was waiting to get in the water...you are supposed to hold him on the edge and say, "are you ready...1...2...3" and let them fall to you in the water...Tripp would just jump in immediately, we will have to keep working on that one...

A Bunch of Posts Combined into One

Tripp got real milk today for the first time, organic 2%. I added two ounces with 3 ounces of formula, he didn't know the difference, he drank it with no problems, and better than that he has had no reaction...I was a little nervous that he would be allergic like mama...but seems like he won't be...success!!!

Tripp also got his first haircut today!!!! Dada has mentioned a couple of times that Tripp needed one and I couldn't agree more, he was getting a bit of a mullet! So out of no where when I was giving Tripp a bath I decided I was going to do it. I got the comb and scissors out and gave this wiggly little monkey a hair cut...it looks REALLY REALLY cute (but dada might have to help straighten it out...you try cutting a 10 month year olds hair...not easy!) He looks like such a little toddler, sadly I could not get an after shot besides this one though, he is busy playing on the floor...I will have to post the dry hair after picture later.
Dada bought Tripp a walker last week and this morning we practiced with Tripp walking between mama and dada, he did a great job, he will be walking in no time!
Yesterday was Tripp's first time to go swimming outside, we have been swimming a lot but never in the big outside pool at VillaSport. He loved it and had lots of fun watching his cousin Violet go down the slide!
