Tripp got real milk today for the first time, organic 2%. I added two ounces with 3 ounces of formula, he didn't know the difference, he drank it with no problems, and better than that he has had no reaction...I was a little nervous that he would be allergic like mama...but seems like he won't be...success!!!
Tripp also got his first haircut today!!!! Dada has mentioned a couple of times that Tripp needed one and I couldn't agree more, he was getting a bit of a mullet! So out of no where when I was giving Tripp a bath I decided I was going to do it. I got the comb and scissors out and gave this wiggly little monkey a hair cut...it looks REALLY REALLY cute (but dada might have to help straighten it out...you try cutting a 10 month year olds hair...not easy!) He looks like such a little toddler, sadly I could not get an after shot besides this one though, he is busy playing on the floor...I will have to post the dry hair after picture later.
Dada bought Tripp a walker last week and this morning we practiced with Tripp walking between mama and dada, he did a great job, he will be walking in no time!

Time for the Crib!
Tripp slept in his crib last night for the first time ever! I know I know, he is almost 10 months old, I guess I am a little attached...and I wasn't exactly excited about it last night either but dada did a great job! Kent stayed in Tripp's room patting his back and rubbing his head until he fell asleep, then we turned the monitor on and surprisingly went to sleep within minutes - yeah I admit it, I had one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a long time. Tripp slept in his crib till about 2:30am when he got a little fussy and restless and Kent went and got him and he went right back to sleep in our bed till 6:45am, it was a great night for sleep in the Allee house!
On another note, I locked Tripp in the car last night!!! Oops!!! I picked him up from daycare and on the three minute drive home he fell asleep. We were heading to the hospital to go see Grandpa Kent but I needed to go home first to change and pick up Kent. I didn't want Tripp to wake up because he needed a little nap so I told Kent to drive around while I went and changed really quick - at that moment I threw the keys in the car for Kent and locked the door, b/c you know Tripp was in there and Kent was in the garage so I wanted to be safe...luckily we were at the house were the spare keys are...

From The Little Gym to the Zoo
This Saturday was a fun one for Tripp! We started the the day out just like every Saturday, at The Little Gym, and this time I remembered the camera! Here is monkey swinging on the bars, this is his favorite thing at The Little Gym! After class we headed downtown to the zoo, since it was raining that morning we were trying to waste time and let the sun come out so we went to Luby's. Our waiter gave Tripp is first balloon, it was so funny to see Tripp play with it, he thought it was pretty awesome!

Doctor's Visit
Kent took Tripp to the doctor this morning for his 6 month shot appointment, yes he is now 9 months old, but this was for his 6 month shots. Here are the latest stats on our growing monkey...
At 9 months:
your child is 23 pounds, and that is at the 80th percentile for weight.
your child is 30 inches, and that is at the 90th percentile for height.
your child has a head circumference of 17.75 inches, and that is at the 37th percentile for head circumference.
So he lost a little weight, stayed the same height and has a bit of a peanut head :)
On another note he is pulling up like crazy!!! He can pull up on anything and everything, it is so cute but life has gotten a little more hectic trying to keep him out of things he isn't supposed to have...well the standing and the fact that he has monkey arms like his daddy which gives him a ridiculously long reach....he has now put his hand in ketchup on my plate on the living room table twice...once of which was promptly wiped off on my work pants.

2nd Ever School Picture
I have no idea why they dressed our child in a firefighter outfit but I think this picture is so cute :)

My Little Man
Kent is working late tonight so I took Tripp into the bathroom with me while I changed after work and washed my face. He was having fun pulling out all my shoes in the closet so I let him play in there while I washed my face. After I washed my face, which was about a minute, this is what I saw in the closet...
...it was cuteness overload for me!

Happy Easter!!!!
Tripp's first Easter was so fun! He loved his Easter basket and actually ripped into it all by himself, then he spent the rest of the day banging two eggs together :) This really was the day that the Lord had made...all three boys smiled in one picture! We actually got SEVERAL good photos of them!
First Easter family photo :)
We went to Ma and Paw-Paw's park where there was an Easter egg hunt...here is Ty and Drew hunting eggs. Tripp stayed on the sidelines and watched, it will give him a leg up on the competition next year...he already knows the drill...
We love our Ma and Paw-Paw!

Tripp is pretty much happy all the time, but take him outside in his wagon with tons of kids around and he is all smiles for hours...
