Noah's Happy Two

Our neighbor Noah had his "Happy Two" (as he called it) yesterday. He is so cute, he had such a good time.

Tripp was not liking the baby pool yesterday, it was so strange, he has never been freaked out by water before. This is not good news as Kent and I bought him a big blow up pirate ship pool for his first birthday! Although later that night he played in the bath tub for about 30 minutes and cried when I took him out...I think he may not have liked the baby pool because it was cold, he didn't start crying until I put him in it, it was the first time he had ever been in cold water. VillaSport and FINS both heat their pools.

He did however LOVE sitting in a big boy chair by himself while watching the big kids play. It is so funny to see his two front teeth when he smiles now, it cracks me up every time.

Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma

Guess who went around the house yesterday saying, "Ma ma ma ma ma ma" :)...finally!!!! Woohoo it was music to my ears!

My Day With Grandma and Grandpa

Tripp spent the whole day Saturday with his Grandma and Grandpa and he had a blast! I am in trouble too, Tripp loves to play with their dog, oh no!

Shopping with Grandma Gerri at Target, where he got a new shirt, new shoes, and new toys!!! He is one lucky little boy!

Dinner with Auntie B and Uncle D...

and cousins V & D...thanks for cooking dinner Friday night Bethany, it was delicious! We went over to aunt Bethany and Uncle Dave's house Friday night to say hello, they had just gotten back from their 2 week road trip. We had chicken enchiladas, at the request of Kent (his sister's enchiladas are his favorite), and Tripp ate cat food...handfuls of cat food...he even hid some in his chipmunk cheeks for later.

No More Baby Food...

...Tripp has now refused to eat baby food for the last week, as dada put it, "well yeah we gave him the good stuff, I wouldn't want that anymore either." He now eats just about everything, even bananas, which he previously hated! He has also been on 1/2 formula 1/2 milk for the last two weeks, he hasn't even noticed the difference and we plan to take the 1/2 formula away when this can is empty...hello $25 a week raise! He is also drinking out of a sippy cup for dinner and snack instead of a bottle, this doesn't seem to faze him either, he doesn't care how he gets his milk, as long as he is getting a lot :). He is such a big boy now...in a matter of weeks we will be bottle, formula and baby food free...woohoo...now onto potty training :)

Bye-Bye

Tripp learned how to wave bye-bye!!! We have been working on this for a while. Yesterday when leaving daycare the owner said, "bye Tripp" as we were walking out the door and Tripp turned his head around and waved to him, it was so cute!!!!

My New Chair!

Tripp finally got a new big boy car seat for Kent's truck, by the look on Tripp's face I would say dada picked a good one.
